This meet-up will explore how we can take beautiful portraits using natural light and backgrounds. We will explore how to recognise flattering light and how to manipulate it whilst shooting in a less controlled environment than a studio. Technical learning points will include accurate focusing and metering for skin tones. A model is present during the session.

We will have some discussion around the best settings , composition and ways to do this , especially in natural light. It would however be useful for you to ensure you are aware of the basics of using manual mode and the exposure triangle. If not sure, we would advise looking at YouTube for this before the photo session.
